		Director: Sandy Johnson, Nick Laughland Screenplay: Tony Grounds Produced: Tim Whitby Cast: Alison Steadman, Jim Broadbent, Sheila Hancock, Warren Clarke, Peter Cook. Comedy drama set in a garden centre in London's Docklands ran from 13th November for 6 episodes. Cook received good notices for his portrayal as con-man Wesley Willis.

		Director: Janet Fraser Producer: Ian Hislop, Harry Thompson Cast: Angus Deayton, Ian Hislop, Michael Palin, Harry Enfield, Richard Ingrams 1 x 60m on 20th March '93 Cook acted as compere and as Robert Maxwell.


		ARENA - RADIO NIGHT (BBC2/R4)
		Appeared along with David Attenborough, Professor Asa Briggs, Alistair Cooke and Spike Milligan. Transmitted simultaneously on BBC2 and Radio 4 on which Cook impersonated 'radio'.


		ONE FOOT IN THE ALGARVE (BBC1)
		Director/Produced: Susan Belbin Writer: David Renwick Cast: Richard Wilson, Annette Crosby and Peter Cook. 1 X 95m Christmas special broadcast 26th December '93 Special edition of the tv-series 'One Foot in the Grave' in which Peter plays an accident-prone photographer called Martin Trout. Good perfomance, although hardly atypical of Cook's comedy.


		CLIVE ANDERSON TALKS BACK (C4)
		Cook's last major TV appearance is amongst his best work. This is Cook on top form, performing his own original material on TV for the first time in 10 years. Absolutely unmissable. Appears as all four guests on this special edition of Clive Anderson. 		WHY BOTHER ? (RADIO 3)
		5 x 10m Chris Morris (Brass Eye/Day Today) aggressively cross-questions Sir Arthur Streeb Greebling, about his life, in these improvised interviews. The results are bizarre and surreal; tackling, as they do, subjects like cloning the DNA of Christ, and how he masqueraded as a bear! Eventually released on BBC tape/cd. Oh..and yes, that IS E.L.Wisty on the cover and NOT Sir Arthur ! Nobody knows why.
